3 Master student must take 2~12 credits every semester.
4 Students must take 72 hours practicum.
5 GEPT intermediate level (or the same level of other English proficiency exam) or be intern overseas in a place over 3 months or take 6 credit of any other language course in order to graduate. Foreign students and overseas Chinese, must be at the advanced level of Mandarin ability.
6 Pass the Chinese Pronunciation and Oral Expression exam held by Ministry of Education or our department.

四、In-service Master Program in Language Teaching, Department of Chinese Language and Literature
1 Students have to complete 30 credit hours of course work. In addition to 30 credit hours of course work, students have to take 4 credit hours of Thesis.

3 Master student must take 2~9 credits every semester. Students whose average scores are the front 20% in the class can choose one more course(over 9 credit) if have having approval by the director of Chinese department.
4 The new added classes are also suitable for former students.
